Mower wont run

Hello, my petrol mower will start once I put it on its side and back upright again. It runs for a few seconds then dies. Tilting it obviously gets fuel in the right place but it not continuing on running tells me there is a blockage....but where?

I should state I've cleaned the carby, new spark plug, new air filter also, changed oil, clean fuel.

Sounds like a carburetor problem!
