Mower deck question

Not sure if this topic has been covered, but here it goes. Are the Troy Bilt mower decks interchangeable? I have an older 50" Troy Bilt Horse, and the deck rusted out. I have access to a 42" deck from a Bronco. Will this deck fit my mower with out a bunch of modification?

From the time MTD took over Cub Cadet they progressively converted all decks to the Cub quick release pattern.
However they did not standardise the PTO arangements.
Thus any electric PTO deck will generally swap out with not much more than a change of belts and a reposition of the front drag link.
manual PTOs are more problematic as you have cable runs and anchor points to worry about.

As to your particular decks it will depend upon the age of the decks
