Model 10313 v-belt replacement and Gator blade

Wondering how difficult it is to replace the drive belt (93-7381). What if I purchased a linked belt (Lee Valley 03J85.01), and spliced it on the old belt as I was feeding it around the main shaft, and then made it the right length. Or can I access this hard to reach area under the deck ?

Also, does anyone know where I could find a Gator blade for this machine ?

I don't have the same mower as you but I just replaced my drive belt and had to remove on of the hydros and it only took 25 minutes. It did take me 4 hours to figure out why it was not working correctly. Take pictures to make sure you route belt correctly.

Look at this manual. Remove the blade, belt cover and belt guide. Remove old belt and install new. Adjust drive cable and reassemble. No Gator blade available for that unit.
