2005 Cub with a Kohler Command engine. Kohler CV730, 950 hours on engine. Started the season with a small oil leak between the lower pan and the main block near the oil filter. Got worse and found the leak at the gasket. Replaced gasket and lower shaft seal. Ran it for about 20 minutes and the lower seal blew out. Engine crankcase appears to be building pressure. I have read there are breather reeds in the engine which can break causing this problem. Also there may be a breather behind the carb. Where are the breather reeds located? The Kohler manual is a bit vague. Is this an easy repair? Does this engine also have a breather behind the carb? Thanks for any advice.
