Looking for a owner manual 917.254241

Spent time on the internet looking for a manual and no joy. Called Sears repair center and they don't have one. The parts lists that are available are very difficult to read. Does someone have an original that could be scanned? Please??

General information on the mower and how to make adjustment to the mower. maintenance intervals, stuff like that.

I have a owners manual on my first really old craftsman tractor and it has a parts list in it. The second really old mower that I just picked up does not have a manual. I will get the mower running again and wanted an owners manual to give to the new owner. I think the mower is around 1987 vintage.

I looked on Sears site and they say they do not have them even to purchase. Its a shame if you ask me.
