(Little Wonder blower) 8HP B&S throttle linkage spring

I have an 1988 Little Wonder blower with the 8hp Briggs and I had the carb off and apart for cleaning. At the same time I took the throttle linkage apart for better access to clean and whatnot. Everything is set to go back except I didnt take much notice of how the 1" long spring reconnects. Is anyone familiar with this linkage and can advise on the proper placement and connection. Thanks very much.

Ok thanks, the info I have is that its an 8hp Briggs and Stratton I/C Cast Iron Bore (from the label).
On the cover its marked,
