What do you do with your leaves in the fall? Bag them? Mulch them? Just wondering.

Blow them in corners of the yard and put them in yard bags. Or blow them on a tarp and dump them in the forest.
Or, collect them while mowing if there aren't too many.

Leaves put into a garden spot each year make soil dark, rich, & loamy over time, earthworms will appear over time & aerate soil, just till leaves under at beginning of spring.

Our area offers removal of the leaves for free. So what i do at all my customers houses is somehow get the leaves to the street (whether by blower or bagging with my mower). And then they come by every 1 and a half weeks or so and vacuum it up.

As I posted in the other Mulch/Bag thread, I mulch 99 percent of the time. When it's wet and/or the leaf drop gets ahead of my ability to stay on top of the mulching, I am forced to mulch the leaves as best I can, and then I bag them. Most years, I am able to stay on top of the mulching so that I don't have to worry about bagging.

Dang that's awesome that they Vaccume it up for free. If ours aren't in a bag they won't take them. And they will only take up to 12 bags of leaves. What state are you in?

Mulch them up with the tractor, collect them in the AgriFab tow behind sweeper and dump them all in the compost bins. Makes for good vegetables next year.

We used to collect them in bag and throw them away. But the ideal practice is to mulch them, this will ultimately increase fertility.
