About a year ago I was given a Lawnboy 10515 (self Propelled) and bought a 10415(push) and S19ZPN(push). I redid the 10515 and S19ZPN decks and slapped the 10415 together. It ran but eventually became hard to start and needed new crank seals, when I tore into it it had a lot of play (up and down ) in the crank. The flywheel was actually rubbing on the housing and the piston was hitting the spark plug tang so I decided to make one good engine out of the three mowers. But, I broke a intake bolt on each extra cylinder and could not extract them got frustrated and gave up. I was gonna put it all in a box and try again in the spring. Well I found a rebuilt short block on ebay for 89.00 so I went for it. Converted all my stuff onto it and installed it on the 21" 10415 to break in. But my ultimate goal was to put together the 19" as most of my cutting is on my Exmark 60" ZTR and just wanted a light mower for my wife or me to trim a couple spots around the house. So I just finished combining everything onto the 19" and even added a tach. It turns 3300 rpm at WOT no load and idles at 2550. Just wanted to show it and say thanks for all the input and help learning about how these machines operate. I hope that it last a long time as I love it.
What I started with
21" 10415
S19ZPN with new short block and 10415 control panel and tach
