KT745 started briefly and then stopped. Then it would not start. Tried some carb cleaner spray down the intake and nothing, not even a pop. Have spark to both plugs. Can't find my compression gauge but there is enough compression to blow your finger off the spark plug hole. Was thinking maybe a spun flywheel so checked where the flywheel magnet was at TDC and it is about 50º past the coil when the piston comes to TDC. Seems to me the magnet should be right about at the coil at a few degrees before TDC. Also, not really getting a strong vacuum pulse when I put my fingers over the intake. 186 hours on the motor, all regular maintenance performed.

Any ideas?

To do a quick check of the flywheel, pull the nut / bolt off the flywheel and look at the timing key
Bath sides of the keyway should come together the make a perfct square .
Slip the rocker covers off and check that the valves are actually going in & out
