Recently my Kohler Courage 23 on my Cob Cadet LT1050 started running rough through the entire rpm range. At full throttle it stumbles and backfires but will still mow.
It has 400 hours and ran great till now. The carb has been through the ultrasonic cleaner. New fuel pump, fuel lines, and both coils replaced. All connections checked and cleaned and brand new battery. No change.
Now the wierd part. Disconnect either cylinder spark plug and runs great on either cylinder through the whole rpm range, no missing, nothing. Connect second cylinder plug cap and back to running rough, missing and backfiring. At wits end. Any ideas guys?
