I have a Snapper ZTR 44" with a 18hp Briggs one cylinder on it. Been very pleased with it but the Briggs gave out and locked up. It has 400 hrs on it. I am going to buy a new 46" cut and I can get a 23hp Briggs Twin or for $100 more get a 21 1/2hp Kawaski Twin. I have never had a Kawaski before and wondered if you Snapper owners like them better than the Briggs. Thanks a lot.

I have a snapper pro with the 20 hp fx series Kawi. Great engine. It has plenty of power and seems fairly fuel efficient. IMO it is the best engine I have ever had on a mower.
