An ariens ztr after 10 min sputters to a stop turn the pto off and it comes back to life could a bearing be going bad at a spindle or could this be a electrical problem (low voltage)

Perhaps a coil, or its modern day equivalent.

More likely to be a relay packing in there should be one on the starter side of the wiring loom to stop you from starting the machine with the PTO engaged I would start there.
