John deere X300

I have an X300 and it won't start. It won't even turn over. I believe its the lever you pull to engage the blade. Is this an easy fix? The place I bought it from wants 6 weeks to fix it.

Remove battery & take to auto parts store to be load tested, this should be of no cost to you. Let us know how it goes, thanks, Mark

Try to turn the engine over by hand.
If you can not turn it over the starter won't be able to either .
I always advise JD owners to but the JD technical manual.
If you can read then it will turn you into an expert in no time flat .

Did you figure it out? Check your seat safety switch.
