Export threadDespite what manufacturers claim there is no such thing as a "sealed for life transmission", oil is put in at assembly & the same plug/cap can be used to empty & refill oil.
The LX277 has a Tuff Torq transmission, albeit a different model transmission to the LT155 in the thread link below but the same principles/oil type will apply (the model K62 Tuff Torq in the LX277 may have a drain plug which would save removing/invering the transmission to drain the oil) :
