Hello. I have an older John Deere 320 with an air cooler V twin engine. I bought it used. When I looked at it, it cut fine, sounded fine, started right up. When I got it home I put fuel in it (not old) and started it up and began mowing. About 3 passes the engine started cutting out and died. It would start up again but would spit sputter and die again. The previous owner advised that it flooded easily. It also seems to run better with the throttle set to turtle rather than rabbit. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I really like the mower. It's like driving a tank. Thanks for your help.:confused2:
