jd400 engine trouble

i have a 20hp kohler and ran into some ignition trouble i thought. replaced coil, condensor, plugs and tryed it out and it only ran on one cylinder like before and would cut off if i removed the jumper cables. any thoughts??

have your battery charged up and load tested somewhere like a battery place or auto parts store.....then check spark on both plugs...you may have a bad coil if only one cyl is getting spark......but check plugs.....then wires.....then coils
