I bought a kit for 38-42 inch mower decks. My deck has no pre-drilled holes or dimpled areas to indicate placement. How can I determine where to drill to make a proper and usable installations?

Which kit are you installing? Install the wheels on the brackets first, then make sure these wheels are aligned with your rear tractor wheels. Make sure you have a white or silver sharpy to mark the holes. Remove the wheels from the bracket since it will make the install a bit easier after everything is marked and drills. Check this really good before you drill any holes in the deck! Also make sure that the bolts that come with the kit will not hit the blades. I had this happen to me, so I had to drill different holes in the brackets so the bolt heads would not hit the blades. This is easier with a helper too, but I did it by myself. Hope this helps.
