New to the forum. I have a john deere d110 and seems I am having an issue with the cam pressure release and/or a seized piston since the engine will not turn. I am in the middle of taking the engine down to find the issue, but I cannot find a service manual for this particular engine, briggs and stratton 31p677-0125-g5. It is a 19.5HP OHV. Any advice as to where I can find one? I have looked on the B&S website and can only find the parts list. Calling them was no help as they said to call a dealer. Also, I have scoured the web but cannot find anything matching these numbers. I am mainly looking for torque specs and sequences along with valve clearances so I can put everything back together without issue.
I am not super familiar with these engines and Briggs nomenclature, is it possible that the engine model would correspond with a service manual with a different model/number. For instance, is a model 31p677 considered a "31000" engine?
