I inherited a lot of my dads tools. In them was one of these.LOL.. It doesn't have a 1 or 2 cylinder option. Is there anything I can do with this on a small engine?

Not really any use for that these days. Dwell, point resistance. Rpm for 4/6/8 cylinder engines. Relic of days gone by.

Darn shame. I have really enjoyed using my ole mans tools. Since i'm in the market for a tach, that would've been awesome if I could've use this one. He's been gone like 36 years now. And there's a lot of his tools that I still use. Like a few of the MAC wrenches. I love that curved end. I can get on a nut, no matter where the points are located.

I think i have one about like it in a box somewhere in the barn if you need another one. LoL.
I wonder if the gen X,Y or millenials know what a point dwell meter is or does. Showing my age. Still got my point file and special GM distributor allen wrench and home made distributor hold down wrenches.

I have one too, haven't used it in so long I have forgotten how. Relic of another era.

OH how things have changed over the years. I haven't even used my timing light in years. That wrench has a grip on to the nut to but like is the offset double box end wrenches. I seem to be always pulling out that 1/2, 9/16 one for many projects.

My ole man was a diesel mechanic. So a lot of the tools he had were huge sockets and wrenches. I use the long 15/16th wrench , and at least a couple of those big sockets pretty often.
Here's the other tester. It has wires coming from it. Blue, black & yellow.
