Was working fine but with little noise (figured due to age bought in 2010). I cranked it to run the gas out for the winter, had more gas in it then I thought and it ran for several hours without being moved. Was going to put in back in my shop prior to running out and Transmissions would whine and be jerky. Thought maybe they just got hot not being used. Let it sit over night and cranked it up this morning still making same noise moves very jerk instead of smooth like it did last time I mowed with it.

Please provide us with the full model and serial numbers from the ID tag. That way we will know exactly which unit you have.

Have you ever changed the hydro fluid in the transmission?

The tag that was on the mower came several years ago. The registration card that was in the paperwork packet shows model 74366 Ser. 310000864. I do know that it is a Timecutter Z5035 50" cut, which according to pictures on internet may make it a Model 74376. Most pictures on internet show 74366 a 42" cut. Sorry but that is the best I can do.

I was under the impression they were sealed and the fluid could not be changed.

Have you run the unit around the yard a few times? Sounds like you may have an air lock, from just running the hydros without circulating the fluid through out the system. Might try purging the drives. Go to this site which has the service manuals available for your unit. You will find instructions on how to troubleshoot your unit. https://www.toro.com/en-GB/parts/partdetails/?id=34870

I put a little of gas in tank and rode it around about 5 minutes. It appears to be working like it did during the Summer now. Thanks Rivet.
