Hustler 72" Super Z Cat Diesel

Hi Guys, I currently have a Hustler Diesel Super Z 72" mower with a failed Hydro drive. I am hoping to find a dealer that might have a 2nd hand drive for this mower as I have been advised by Hustler that they are no longer available new from Hustler. Mower model number: 927608 & serial number:05042108. Hustler Part Number for Drive Motor: 792069. Can anyone here recommend someone that might be able to supply a new or used drive motor? I'm located in Australia, Many thanks in advanced, Jeff

I doubt that you will find one in OZ
Hustler is a very tiny part of the market down here
Have you contacted Hustler directly ?
There are several businesses who will repair HydroGear equipment
Have you contacted Hydro Gear directly .
Mower shops are the wrong place to go
Farm equipment repairers are the place where you would expect to find a workshop that car strip & repair the wheel motor where as the best a mower shop will do is to replace worn out parts .
Most franchise dealer workshops are lucky to have a wire brush let alone lathes & mills .
OTOH it will not be cheap & if you start complaining about price then do not expect a warm helpful reception.
I get mine done by a specialist workshop in Smeatons Grange
A mechanic I know in Dubbo will do his own

Yes listen to Bert. Get the Hydro model number and go directly to them. Forget Hustler they only buy and install the Hydro's.
