I have a husqvarna zero turn mower and yesterday I was trying to mow but every time I take the brake off it dies. But If I idle it up all the way it will start to move backwards with the brake on.
Help please !!!

This almost has to be a problem with a safety switch, possibly the seat interlock. Check under the seat to see if the wires are plugged in and unbroken. It could also be the brake switch not releasing when you release the brake. I had a Husq ZTR until this past summer. You have to set the brake to start it, with the handles outward to the stops. If you move the handles, and the brake is set, it will die. If you get off the seat, and the brake is NOT set, it will die. I don't think this could be the blade switch, or it wouldn't turn over to start.
