I was given a Honda HHR2168VKA lawnmower in parts. The transmission had been removed and the cover taken off. I want to put it back together but I need to know what to use for transmission fluid and how full do I fill it? Any help will be appreciated.
serial number is MZCG 8550150. I’d like a parts diagram to make sure I’m putting it back correctly, but I can. Get by without it.

The official oil is motor oil 10w-30. I've used automatic transmission fluid as well without any problems.

It's been a while... but it's not FULL. Maybe a 1/4 - 1/2 inch from the top is about what I remember it being. The linked thread below says 2.2 ounces. I'll tell you get it mostly full of some type of slippery fluid and you probably will never have a problem with it. :)

Heh - yep. I remember that being fun too. You will have to take the blade and blade clutch off to get to it as I recall.
