Hi LawnWorld experts... I hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. I have a 2012 HRR2168VKA and just recently the engine and blade stays running after releasing blade control lever. Since I'm a novice I turn the fuel valve to off and let it run out of gas once I'm done with the mowing. Occasionally my daughter helps with the mowing so I can't leave it like this. Any ideas?

Awesome, thanks @mechanic mark. Apparently the ignition coil wire was disconnected that was all. It was not noticed bc I guess it was dangled behind the spark plug boot. It wasn't until that I pulled the spark plug boot off that I noticed the ignition coil wire was disconnected. So I followed your 2nd video link and the only thing I had to do was remove the red engine starter/shroud and reconnect the ignition coil wire. Thanks again!!
