Im going to change the head gasket on my husqvarna lawn tractor but the torque setting works out to about 19 Newton metres of torque. My torque wrench has a minimum of 28 NM. How would I do the head bolts without out it or with it. I don't have the money to spare to buy another torque wrench. So how would I do it?

I would double check that 19Nm spec. That's only 14 ft lb which to me is low for head bolts.

Coca, Don't know what t-wrenches you have priced, but the "beam style" is not so expensive and very accurate. Try sears. Around $25? H-Frt is now selling their entire 1/4-3/8-1/2 drive clickers for $10. I cannot recommend the 1/2, but did recently buy the 1/4" because the range started @ 20 IN LB. I guess you are reacting to the $80-$250 price ranges of the better ones?

Ok thanks. Ill probably go and buy one. I like to have it done right. And I'm quite sure it's about 19 newtons of torque and about 165 lbs as it said in the manual.

coca, I'm with Rivets. That value seems low for head bolt. Double check. The "165 lbs" is inch lbs, correct? Still the suspect low 14 ft lbs. Double check.

I'm not too sure. Ill add screenshot of what it said in the manual. I'm a bit confused now. What do you think it should be?

165 in lbs is correct for your engine, which is 14 ft lbs, which is 19 NM. You were correct from the beginning.
