Unfortunately, last week I hit an exposed root in my back yard that I somehow didn't see. I thought it may have just bent the blade, but when I replaced the blade and went to run the mower I can hear the blades hitting the sides of the deck. So I need to pull the shaft but I can't find any youtube videos or walkthroughs on how to do so & was hoping someone here could help. Thanks for any info!

Pull the deck off
Hold the blade or use some hardwood to stop it turning
Undo the nut on top of the pulley
Drive the shaft through from the pulley end.
Check the mounting legs.
If you bent the shaft then you will most likely have cracked or broken on of the legs off the spindle housing.
