Purchased a new Honda HF2417HM Ride on earlier this year to replace my old Honda . Very disappointed with my new machine.
old one had one rocker pedal for forward and reverse. Cut as quickly backwards as it did going forward.
New one requires you to hold a button down on the dash with one hand while going backward, and then it only creeps along at a snails pace.
also if you go over a bit of uneven ground the deck jumps up.
my old mower was a 2114 had it for fifteen years really good machine that’s why I bought the new one.
However the changes Honda have made do not make for a Pleasent mowing experience.
