Only one speed on this model (gear box type unit). Should propel at 4.0 km/h (2.5 mph) if set-up correctly. Mae sure the throttle is always set to FAST. This will get you the fastest travel speed, as well as the highest quality cut. Blades must spin very fast to get a quality finish.

Did you buy this new? If you don't think it is working properly, get it to your local Honda dealer, and they can verify the engine speed is set correctly, and do a full inspection and evaluation. Factory defects are generally covered under warranty, but be sure to confirm what will or will not be covered before authorizing any work.

Thank you for the reply Robert! I did buy it new from a local authorized dealer. When you say to make sure it is set to "fast" i would assume you mean the lever on the left with the rabbit and the turtle? Is the fast position on that going to be in the middle? The reason i ask is because when i pull the lever towards me while running it would begin to stall, and when i push it all of the way forward it would also try to stall. I had to leave the lever in the "center" position to keep her running.

I apologize for the stupid questions, as my name states im a nooby with these.

Rabbit should be fast middle is not fast of its stalling out you probably need a few adjustments I agree with Robert take it to a dealer probably the one you bought it from and have them adjust and tune it up
