Export threadhi i have a honda 425c, i have recently got it 2nd hand, starts and runs first time every time apart from the blade isnt rotating, but the nut in the middle is rotating has any 1 got any ideas, thankyou

I'll guess that the nut isn't clamping the blade, for whatever reason. Can you turn the blade without turning the shaft?

yes i can turn the blade and the nut in the middle will not move, when the engine is running the center nut spins which looks to be attatched to a pulley above which is driven by the belt.
