Hello all,

Here's the run down, my 10515 quit about 3 weeks ago. This spring, it got fresh gas and a new spark plug. Running great until about 3 weeks ago. After priming it, it wouldn't even make a sound when I pulled on the cord. Cleaned the carburetor, and did some testing. Changed out the ignition module. Turned on with the first pull. Today, it pooped out after 10 minutes. Quit and is doing the same thing it did 3 weeks ago. No sound when I pull the cord.

Any ideas? Should I just look for something else? Or, keep trying to problem solve? I really love my Lawn Boy, but I'm totally stumped.
Thanks,
Jessica

did you buy a cheap coil? maybe it crapped out again. id check the gap at the flywheel and if its a coil then contact the company you purchased it from. I just ordered a cheap coil for mine so I hope it lasts. good luck- Randy

Also inspect the wiring around the coil and make sure they havn't rubbed the flywheel and are grounding out.
I have done that before...lol

Thank you all so much for your replies!

Okay, well, this is pretty embarrassing, but the fix was actually incredibly simple. After I put in the ignition coil, I attached the spark plug cord to the spark plug, but apparently it wasn't tight enough. When I started taking off the top, plastic covering, I noticed that cord was really loose. Sure enough, it was just hanging on by because of the traction with the rubber. Once I plugged it in all the way, it started on the first pull. Feeling a little silly, but sure happy it was a quick fix.

the terminal on the cheapie coils sometimes is in sideways and needs to be turned to clip on the plug better
