hello friends back at it again I have a Briggs 3.5 that smokes whitish blue smoke. It starts right after I crank it till I shut it off. I know its burning oil but cant find where. I checked breather valve and tube and made sure everything was tight. It ran a minute or two before it started smoking. Any suggestions?

Thanks that's a very useful diagram but I didn't see anywhere on there about smoking. It runs fine just smokes white out the exhaust.

okay looking at that list. it is being run on level ground, has good compression, not sure if breather is working properly, and don't know if it has worn rings. Im using 30 sae oil. how do I check the breather valve? and should I tear down and replace the sump and headgaskets? is there any way to check for worn rings without taking the entire motor apart?

A leak down compression test would be the easiest way to know for sure.
