Suddenly shifting has become almost impossible on my SR2810. The stick will move a little bit to adjacent gears. For example Reverse to First gear. It has to be forced any further. Once it’s been forced to say 5th gear it will move back to 4th but further down gear requires tremendous pressure. Purchased years ago well used and so far it’s done it’s job. Other than replacing tires, a carb and greasing a bit not a lot of maintenance has been done. Maybe that’s the issue?. IDK. I lubricated the linkages and the rubber boots both look good. Clutch disengages when pressed. Can anyone offer suggestions on the most likely things to investigate before I start wasting time floundering around? At 75 I prefer to minimize time spent kneeling on a cold concrete floor. Thanks. Mike
