Generac engines on a Dixie Chopper

I got to work on Generac engine today on a DC.....IMO, it's hard to believe anybody would use those!

IMHO....2nd rate design all the way around.....compared to the top selling engines!

Well from what I have seen of the Generac engines they very good engines reliability wise. But they are very different engine design wise. I got two customers with Dixie Choppers that I service over the last 5 yrs and the worst I have seen was a spark plug wire terminal had rusted.I have repair several Generac engine of generators and all have been only carburetor problems.

Now take with a grain of salt as I only been working small engines for 11 yrs now.

Only ever worked on one.
Crank running on a ball & roller sure seemed like a good design to me
