Hi All:
I just rebuilt a carb on a LB 5239 mower that has a D 400 engine and a Type A carb. The problem is that the fuel is blowing past the primer plunger into the air and not being forced into the throat of the carb. I cleaned the carb and blew out all of the passages with high pressure air when the carb was rebuilt. The tune up kit looked good as all of the components were well made.
What is causing this problem and how may I correct the problem?
Tia,
