F510 model shuts down when I release the brake

Hi, I have the F510 model and when I release the brake it shuts down. A 3 month old battery was also dead when I first went to start it. Got the battery charged and it starts right up. Now, when I released the brake the mower shuts down. Can anyone help? Thanks.

check your safety switches...one of them is doing it....like your seat and deck engagement

I concur - your machine thinks your not on the seat with the engine running .
