Exmark turf tires

Just bought a new Radius S 52" deck a couple of days ago and overall I think I will enjoy this mower, particularly the floating seat system, but coming from old front deck Woods is going to take a little getting used to. The problem I already see though is the slick turf tires. I cut the bank of a pond beside my home and I found out day 1 I do not need to take it too close to the edge due to it sliding and losing traction. I had a cleat type tire on the woods that worked great but could be tough on my yard if it had rained in the past few days. Is there a happy medium between these "slicks" and the cleats?

Compare the weight of the 2 mowers first. The Woods was probably a good bit heavier, and that makes as much difference as the cleats.
