Should be 9/16 or 5/8. More than likely 5/8"

What I can find on the engine it uses a 7/16-20 screw so the head is 5/8 (16mm). It also need to be torque at 50-55 ft-lbs.

Get some 6 point sockets and find one that fits. Duh!

It just some don't have the tools like the rest of us do. And I wish I didn't 5K - 10K in tools myself but they are needed. Like the 2T engine hoist that I used this week to remove and installed a Kohler M18 in CC shaft drive mower. I know it is over kill but it saves my back plus I can use it otherwise. I really could use a gantry type crane, just no place to store it out of the weather.

Just a thought, but the shop I retired from had traveling 20T overhead hoists in the main shop. In the smaller parts of the building, there were swing post hoists with a hoist trolley on the beam. The post was in the corner of the shop and the beam swung around against the wall when not in use. Picture an inverted "L" with a trolley and a hoist on the horizontal arm. One could pick up anything from any part of the shop and move it to anywhere else in the shop. Since they swung170 degrees, they covered the area outside the overhead doors. Inexpensive and very handy.

Those are nice but when you got only a 2 car garage with a door that only goes up to 7 ft it kinda hard if not impossible to get a 8 ft tall crane though the doorway.
