electric start

I have a snapper rear engine rider wit a 8 hp briggs pull start on it and i want to convert it to a electric start. i need a electric flywheel but they are no longer avable,
they do have the ring gear, they say bolts on the bottom of my org. flywheel. but dosen;t it have to have magnets in it.
the motor is 195702-0452-A1

Surely you have some small one man type mower repair shops around which would likely have a bunch of good used flywheels cheap for these obsolete engines plus the stator and starter which are very interchangeable between a wide range of B&S Engines. Large shops generally do not want to fool with used parts. You are right, you would not have the magnets in your flywheel to charge the battery.
