E-payment billing options

Typically, billing has been done via an email invoice with customers paying by check. We're considering creating an option for customers to pay directly by inserting a "Pay Now" button into the email like the one, below. We're anticipating that customers would have 2 options: PayPal or Venmo. However, setting this up seems to be far more complicated than we anticipated. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's done this. Note that we don't have a retail operation, so this process is totally new to us.

I looked inro it a couple years ago. It depends on whether you are an individual or a business.with the processing fees and all the elecrtonic invoicing and receipts i decided it wasn't worth it. If you are just an individual you can give someone the email address connected to your PayPal account and they can send you money.
