I have a Craftsman with a 42 inch deck and it is about 9 years old+/- and I just noticed it leans to ons side, considerably. If I measure the deck to the gound on both sides there is a diferenc eof over an inch and the mower cuts like crap.

Is there some way to adjust the chassis ? (tire pressure is correct)

Thanks

Boy, you've got me scratching my head! You do know the front axle mount is "floating" and pivots back and forth to deal with some of the ruts in the ground. The back wheels are attached to the hydrostatic gear which is solidly bolted to the chassis which could not cause the mower to lean. Take a good look at the front cast axle mount to make sure it is square with the mower. Sounds like your mower is as old as mine and needs some TLC. Mine is nine years old and all of a sudden it's needing a bunch of attention (read money). From the steering to the hydrostatic tranny and everything in between all seems to be worn out but as long as I can get cheap parts on ebay and other sources I'll continue to run it. Let us know how you are coming along.
