I had a bad "toe-out" issue on my old JD mower. The replacement link was crazy expensive.
This fix has worked out perfect, and got me through another season with my crappy mower.
In fact.....it's probably the strongest part on the machine at this point.
I got a lot of thumbs-down on this fix, and I don't know why. It's cheap, strong, and was a lasting fix.
I'll let you be the judge. Maybe this will save the next guy some money too.

Captain B,

Not a thing wrong with your "Cure". I might would have rounded off the corners of the angle. Other than that, run it like you stole it and fix it if you break it.

I broke the one on my old Power King tractor years ago and made a similar repair. It's stronger than original.
