dixon mower will turn over but won't start

I have a dixon speedztr 16.5 hp briggs and stratton mower. It will crank but will not turn over. I have tried cleaning the carburator, loosening/tightening the gas cap, changing the fuel filter,air filter. It is getting gas but will not turn over. I ran the battery down so I charged it and it still will not turn over....At first it started right up like normal and I mowed for a little bit and it started cutting out, but it kept running for a litle longer then it started cutting out again and died. I let it sit for a little but and was able to baby it back to the garage but it has not turned over since then.

Having the same...bought a spark checker...no spark
