Deck swap?

I just picked up a 21" Snapper RP215517HC with a Honda motor and a mulching deck.
It starts on the first pull, and looks as if it had hardly been used.
I'm happy with it, except for the cut quality.
Can the existing deck be changed for one of the hi-vac decks, and can I use one of the new welded decks?
Any issues in changing over that I should know about?

Explain your cut quality issue? Is the engine dogging out in high grass? Is the mower leaving cut grass tracks on the lawn? Try an Oregon 99-121 blade.

The Hi-Vac deck rolls under towards the blade. Ninja deck flares out towards your feet. Can't tell for sure from your pic but that looks to be a Hi-Vac.

I don't see any gain from a welded deck.
