Deck lift broke? Is there a fix?

Just sharpened the blades and took it out to mow, first few passes were great until I hit a fairly large bump. The left side of the deck dropped all the way down. I checked the chains and all was well, but when I went to lift the deck to check more the entire foot pedal disconnected from the mower. It appears a weld between the foot pedal plate and the lift tube (that connects to the other side) broke.

I'm worried it's considered part of the frame and not replaceable. I'm considering blocking up the deck and welding the plate and tube back together, but I figured I'd reach out first for advice or feedback.

Well as usual we need the mower actual model number from the serial number tag so we can look up the part area. We are not there to look at it.

Well.. ended up using a ratchet strap to support the broken (left) side and clamped it all up. Welded a big bead around the tube and it's back up and running like a dream! Time to hit it with a little hustler yellow spray paint!
