Customers.... Ugh

Most of you probably have a customer (or 2 or 3 or 4) that doesn't understand the words "I'll call you when it's ready."
I had this one that stopped by every dayum day for a solid two weeks to check on the status of his mower. Even when I'm lying under a mower, in plain sight of where he pulls in, he'll sit there and wait for me to drop what I'm doing, get out from under it, walk out there (he don't walk so good), just to be told "It's not ready yet. And that I'll call him when it is."
One day, he pulled out some $$$ and asked how much does it cost to get to the front of the line. The $100 bill being in plain sight. Jokingly I say "Something like that." Of course the money goes right back into the envelope and the "I was joking" reply comes.
