Craftsman Tiller wobbly rear tine shaft.

My Sears tiller model 917298560 has got quite few years on it. It's a rear tine tiller and the shaft had gotten very wobbly like the bearings were bad. I broke the casing down and I find that it has bushings, not bearings and they don't look to be replaceable. The shaft itself seems in good shape. But it is definitely loose in the bushings. Has anybody had to repair a problem like this? What can be done?

Go to Sears Parts Direct with your model number and I think you will find that bushing are still available for your unit. If not post back.
