a friend of mine was replacing mhy battery and accidentally hooked up the battery backwards. When I turn the ignition switch to start, nothing happens. The battery has 12.62 volts when tested with a multimeter. Is there a fuse that could be blown? If so, where is the fuse located? I cant find one. Its a Craftsman professional mower & I would appreciate any help. Thank you

The fuse location can vary depending on battery location and also who manufactured the mower. The Husqvarna versions are normally in the area under the steering wheel on the right side of the dash sometimes clipped to the sheet metal upright. MTD can be clipped behind the battery above the hitch and sometimes taped to the wiring harness so can be hard to see. But normally if you look in the area of the battery it is usually close to that location except the older Husqvarna manufactured ones.
