My craftsman lawn tractor will start and run but will not move forward or backwards. I replaced the drive belt, air filter and fuel filter. It seems like it wants to try to move forward but it is almost like the brake is on
A few questions to help us picture your problem, as we are not standing next to you to see what is happening. Is the belt routed properly and the idler pulleys free? Did you check to make sure that the idler tension arm is moving freely, keeping tension on the belt when you release the clutch foot pedal? Did you forget to push in the hydro release lever back in? Was the tractor acting up before you changed the belt?
