Craftsman 316.773800 edger a few years old had what appeared to be carb issues, even tough I use only non ethanol gas. I ordered a new carb from Amazon, installed and it would only idle at very high speed and only run with choke on. I assumed it was a defective carb. Returned and received a new one.
Installed new carb and same thing only runs at full throttle, unhooked throttle cable to see if it was the issue but if I try to idle it down it dies. I see no adjustment, am I missing something or getting defective carbs? Are there better carbs available?
