The other day I was mowing and ran over a piece of rope. The rope twisted around both blades so tight I had to remove the housing and blades to remove it. It stopped the mower when it happened. Today I removed the rope, replaced the blades and re-installed the housing. It started fine but when I tried engaging the blades, it super hard to get the lever up and makes a weird noise. The blades doesn't turn.
When I ran over the rope, could that have messed something up inside the motor. The front spindle is super hard to turn with my hands and the belt will not turn it at all. What should I do?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Danny Harris
